Amey’s people and projects named as finalists for 25 top industry awards
The 2016 award season has gotten off to a successful start for leading engineering and public services provider, Amey, with a number of wins at the UK Rail Industry, Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) and Institute of Risk Management Awards already in the bag.
The team are now keeping their fingers crossed for continued success as Amey’s people and projects have been shortlisted for 25 of the most prestigious awards around.
Three of our brightest stars have been shortlisted for the coveted Women in Construction and Engineering (WICE) Awards, while a number of partnerships have also been recognised with shortlist spaces at the Scottish Transport Awards, Partnership Awards, National Recycling Awards and HR Excellence Awards. We’ve also been named as a finalist by Business in the Community in the Inspiring Young Talent category.
In addition, a number of our key infrastructure projects also made it to the final hurdle for Global Firm of the Year and International Impact of the Year at the NCE 100 Awards as well as UK Project with a Geotechnical Value of up to £1m and Technical Excellence at the 2016 Ground Engineering Awards.
Jennifer McKinney, Amey’s operation manager and finalist for Best Female in Rail Engineer at this year’s Women in Construction and Engineering Awards said:
“The WICE awards, like so many of the others we’ve been shortlisted for, are amongst the most sought after accolades in our industry and see us compete against the crème de la crème. I’m extremely proud to have made it to the finals and wish my fellow shortlistees the best of luck for the upcoming awards.”
