Wolverhampton City Council praises Amey Highways

The Leader of Wolverhampton City Council, Councillor Roger Lawrence, has praised the Amey Highways gritting teams, who have kept traffic moving through the City during the severe weather of the last few days.

“Feedback I have had from people travelling in Wolverhampton was that the roads had been appropriately treated and, as far as I’m aware, traffic was moving here more freely than in neighbouring boroughs”, he said.  “I want to thank all the staff involved, both the City’s own highways employees and our contractors, Amey Highways, for their hard work and commitment to providing this essential service to the people of Wolverhampton.”
